"ADMIRAL BODIE" the fish dog

Why was "YEAH RIGHT CHARTERS" invited to join the BBB? This is because we strive to be the best at what we do. We are "straight up" with you and treat you like we would want to be treated. You are never charged for your trip until after it is run and you are satisfied!! Your complete satisfaction is our main goal!! We DO NOT play the game of, "if we pull away from the dock, it's considered a trip", you will be treated fairly and with respect, ALWAYS!!!!

Do I need a fishing license? NO, not to fish on the "YEAH RIGHT". We carry all license and permits to cover anyone fishing on our boat, resident and non-resident are both covered by this license while on the boat!!!!

Does the "YEAH RIGHT" have a restroom on board?
  Yes she does!!!

Does the "YEAH RIGHT"  have a cabin?
Yes, a roomy cabin with seating at the table and a galley.

How long does it take to get to the fish This will depend on the trip you take, the time of year, and sea conditions. The fish frequent different areas at different times of the year. However, the"YEAH RIGHT" is one of the fastest charter boats on the Carolina Coast which means we can get there quicker, stay later, and you will be able to fish LONGER!!!!

Do you offer Electric Reels? Yes, we have what we feel are the best we have ever used. We have NEW PRECISION ELECTRICS for your use on the "YEAH RIGHT"!!!

How much do you rent the electric reels for? On other charters you may have had to "rent" their electric reels, electric reels are available for you on the "Yeah Right" at no additional cost. Just another benefit for your enjoyment that makes us a little different than most!!

Can I bring my own fishing tackle?
Yes you can. But included in your trip price is the equipment and tackle that has been proven over years of trial and error to be the best to catch the fish we are after that day. If you use your own tackle, I can't be held responsible for you not hooking up the fish. Please limit your rods to one.

Is your tackle kept in good shape?
With respect to you so that you can fish and not have to worry about equipment failure, we put brand new equipment on the "YEAH RIGHT" every spring...  What's not replaced every year is completely serviced with worn parts replaced, cleaned, lubricated and placed in "like new" condition for your enjoyment. You WILL NOT   fish with "junk" on our boat!!!

Will there be any unexpected charges? No, the price you see on our web page is the price you pay. The web site will be current at all times. Or, just call (910) 845-2004.  We DO NOT do the Fuel Sur Charge game or the Coupon Trick!! With us you get the lowest possible price with no "hoops" to jump through and no gimmicks, period!!!  However, it is customary to tip a mate 15% to 20% of trip fare if he or she provides you with good service, but, it is not mandatory!!
Professional Fish cleaning also available at 50 cents per pound!!

Do You Accept Credit Cards? Yes, we accept credit cards; however, we can only accept

How do I reserve a fishing trip? Just call us at (910)845-2004, choose a date you want to fish. If that date is still open, a visa or MC number will hold that date for you. No charges will be made to your card unless you want to charge the trip after it has been run and you are satisfied. Please read our "deposit policy" on the "RATES"page.

What if our trip is cut short?
Let's say you book a full day trip and a  storm makes us return to the dock at lunch, you will only be charged for a half day trip. You will only be charged for the length of the trip any given day allows us to get in.

What if the weather is bad? If we encounter bad weather and have to cancel the trip, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule another trip on an available date or you can get a 100% refund of any money paid. This will be your choice!!

What do I need to bring? You should bring what you would like to eat and drink. We have drinks and snacks available on the boat at no charge to you but they may not be to your liking. Try to keep coolers as small as possible. Also bring any personal item you may need, hats, sunscreen, sea sick pills, jackets, non-skid shoes, etc. If you have a favorite rod and reel you would like to have broken in feel free to bring it, but, all fishing tackle, bait , ice, are provided. Another option that works well is to bring one 100 quart cooler with all your food and drinks for the day, then that evening, use that cooler for your fish fillets!!!

Who will clean the fish? There is usually a fish cleaning service available at the dock. The charge is very reasonable (.50 cents lb) and these guys are good. They package, lable, and pack your fish on ice. You don't have to wait on them, you can leave and return to pick them up later!!

How can I avoid sea sickness? Some people are more prone to get sea sick than others. I take a dramamine ever morning before I leave the dock. I am not suggesting you do the same, but, it works for me!! I have been told that chewing on some ginger root works good also.

What if I get sick? If you should get sick, stay in the fresh air. DO NOT  go into the cabin. If you have the urge to chum over the side, go ahead, you will probably feel a lot better afterwards. Nibbling on some plain crackers and ginger ale helps most people feel better. But if you can't shake it just remember, this is your boat for the day, we will return to the dock when you say so!!!

Do we have to keep the fish? Definately not. We can release them to fight another day!!

If we keep the fish, who do they belong to? What you catch on your trip belongs to you to do with whatever you desire!!

Are children allowed on the boat? Children are more than welcome!!!!  However, you know your child more than anyone, so I will let you decide if you think he or she is capable to handle the sea environment. Also, children 13 years old and younger are required by the USCG to wear a commercial life jacket anytime the boat is in transit. We will provide you with this life jacket.

What trip should I take? That depends on how comfortable you are with the ocean. However, the longer the trip, the greater your chances are of catching a trophy fish, and also, the longer you fish the more you will catch.  The full day is the best deal, this gives you time to fish and gives me time to get you to the best fishing grounds!!

Do I have to have 6 people? No, we fish trips with just one person on board, but 6 people are the maximum we are licensed for, however, 4 are less crowded and make a  more enjoyable trip!!

Can I extend my trip ? Yes, if you book a trip other than a Gulfstream or full day you can if we are not already committed. By this I mean, lots of times we will be booked from 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon. Then from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on the same day. If not, and you wish to make a 1/2 day to a full day, etc. That's not a problem.

When should I call to book a trip? As soon as you know, call, don't wait, there are only so many fishing days in a year, when they are all booked, they are all gone till next year!! A lot of our fishermen take their vacation the same time every year and will go ahead and book a trip for the same week the next year, so, many of the fishing days are already taken before a new year even starts!!! Call ASAP!!!!  The sooner you call, the better your chance of getting the date you would like!!!

WHAT TO BRING
You only need to bring what you want to eat and drink and your personal items like: sunglasses, medications, sunscreen, hats, etc; We provide ice, bait, and all the tackle you will need to catch fish!!
