1/2 DAY NEARSHORE FISHING

This trip is suggested for the beginner who wants to see
how they take to the water before heading offshore on a long day trip or the person who just wants to fish a few hours close
in instead of a full day offshore.
The most popular type fishing on this trip is to Troll for
Spanish mackeral a while then switch up and try to hook up a big shark.
It's a fun trip that leaves you refreshed and usually plenty of fillets!!!
This trip can be run from 7AM to 12noon, or IPM to 6PM, depending on
availability when you call to book!

This trip is for the dedicated Grouper fisherman. We will leave the
dock at 7AM and return at 5PM.
We will be targeting big grouper with mostly live baits and cigar
minnows where they hang out. We do catch other bottom species while Grouper fishing, but you will be mostly fishing the
areas preferred by big grouper
This fishing will be based on open seasons and bag limits at
time of trip!!! There is a difference
in bottom fishing and Grouper fishing.
This trip is for the GROUPER FISHERMAN that wants to catch mostly
GROUPER!!!
Yes, you can catch Grouper while bottom fishing, but here, we
are strictly after grouper. Get a good nights rest and be sure to work out some before taking this trip so your arms won't
be so sore the next day

most heart pounding and exciting fishing you can do.
This fishing can be some awesome fishing
with long hard fights, acrobatic jumps, and long reel screaming runs!!!
We catch some big sharks and they fight hard. We hooked a shark this
year (2009) that has to be the biggest we have ever hooked.
In a matter of less than a minute, this beast straightened a
16/0 big game hook like it was nothing.
Come join us catching some of the strongest fighting fish that swim
close to the beach, you never have to leave sight of land and lots of times you will be in the prescence of dolphin as they
feed right along with the sharks.
And you will be fishing close to Oak Island pier where the record Tiger
Shark was caught that weighed over a Thousand Pounds.
They are great tasting on the grill, or even greater to fight and photo,
plus, we will make a video for you and put you on You tube for all to see who wins this fight!!!

Here you will
be anchoring up on the near shore reefs and fishing live bait rigged "carolina style", or you can use artificial, or both
live bait and artificial.
This is much like fishing a plastic
worm for bass with a few differences in which we will explain at the time. There's a "knack" to this type fishing, we will
teach you how to do it!!!
The Yaupon Reef and surrounding area is one of the best flounder fishing spots known
to man, and there's lots of flounder caught here every year.
And don't be suprised while fishing for flounder
if you hook up a citation Red Drum, Trout, Spade Fish, or get Spanish and King Mackeral on a lite line.
GULFSTREAM FISHING

type fishing takes place a long way offshore, in the Gulfstream, which is usually around 60 miles off Southport,NC.
It can be worth the time and effort though!! Here you can hook up with
some very nice fish!!
Main quarry will be Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi,
and Billfish like Sailfish and Blue and White Marlin are possible while trolling!!!
BLUE MARLIN FISHING

you are a big game fish purist, this is your package. As with the Bluefin Tuna, you will battle these fish "stand up" style.
And as in all "Big Game" hunts,
it's more for the thrill of the hunt that makes this type fishing exciting. The hook up is just the "icing on the cake"!!
Those that have fished from the chair
tell me that the "stand up" is the way to go. You are one on one with your quarry and it's an awesome way to fight a fish.
You will be targeting Blue Marlin with heavy tackle and large trolling
lures. However, we will also have lighter tackle rigged with "pitch baits" if the opportunity arises.
A Marlin on light tackle is an awesome challenge and 9 time out of ten,
the Marlin will win on lite tackle.
But if you do get her to boatside, think of all the bragging rights
that will honor you with!!!
We will take plenty of pictures for you and will tag the fish!!
The
"YEAH RIGHT II" has proven her "salt"!!!! The very first trip she made to the stream with her new engines, she raised a very
large Blue Marlin which after a three to four hour fight, Capt. Chris leadered her at boat side.
You should have been there to watch her swim off after an incredible
performance and fight, the ultimate experience!!
BLUEFIN TUNA FISHING

Two People Maximum, This Is For Your Safety
Here we go!!!! If you have never hooked up with one of these
animals then you DO NOT know what a fish fight is!!! This season (best fishing time) is generally from December 15th through
January 15th.
Hook into one of these and you just might wish you hadn't.
We use PENN 80 STW 2 speed International Reels and Shimano Tiagra 80WA 2 speed Reels on 130 lb. class rods. 100 yards
130 "top shot" and 1,500 yards of 150 braid.
You will have tackle sufficent enough to land quite possibly the biggest,
meanest, fightenist fish you will ever hook in your life!! Please, evaluate you physical condition before signing up
to do battle with one of these beast!!!
Although the trip says 7 hours, be prepared to possibly stay much longer.
When we leave for a Bluefin Tuna trip, they know that if the EPIRB has not been set off for the Coast Guard, everything is
OK, and we will get back when we can!!!
